Polish manufacturer of medical drapes, gowns and apparel JKT has been acquired by Mölnlycke Health Care.
With a leading position and local knowledge of the Polish market, JKT is based in Bialystok, with 110 employees and 2008 turnover of €5.5 million.
As a fully owned subsidiary of Mölnlycke, it will also now become a platform for the development of the Mölnlycke Wound Care business in this country.
“Mölnlycke Health Care’s business is expanding, both in the wound care and surgical businesses,” said CEO Pierre Guyot. “The acquisition of JKT is in line with our growth strategy. We want to strengthen our leadership position in the European surgical business and Poland represents an important milestone.”
